-Booking a Wedding Date-
Payment and Terms: A deposit of $500 is required to book a wedding package. A payment of 50% of the remaining balance is due 60 days before the date of the wedding and the remainder is due 30 days prior to the date of the wedding. Minnesota Sales Tax is not included in the pricing. MN Sales Tax will be added to all purchases.
Shipping: If local to the St. Paul, Minneapolis area orders may be picked-up for no charge. If your order is shipped via UPS or USPS you will be charged the cost of shipping. Estimated cost range from nine to twenty dollars.
All prices and packages are subject to change at any time. Any price or package changes after you book your wedding will not affect the pricing you were quoted.
All items included in your package must be redeemed within six months of your wedding date. All items that are included in your package, including album and print allowances, must be ordered and redeemed within six months of the date of your wedding. Any remaining unused credits/allowances will expire six months after your wedding date.
A Photo CD will include all of the pictures provided to you as printed proofs. All of the images provided to a client on CD may be reproduced, distributed, or printed by the client without restriction and without credit or additional payment to the photographer. The photographer may also use the images for promotional or advertising purposes. Photos on the CD are high resolution (300 dpi) which is the most common resolution for commercial printing. Images will generally be sized the same as your proofs, 4x6. *With Wedding Packages 3 and above (3,4, and the Deluxe Package) you will also be provided (upon your request) up to 20 selected images in any size that you wish.* All of this can be confusing if you are not familiar with digital images and prints –we will work with you to ensure your needs are met.
Printing from your Photo CD: The JPG files on your photo CD are the exact same files used for your 4x6 wedding prints. There is no guarantee, however, that prints you make yourself or have printed from these files will look exactly like the prints that are provided to you in your wedding package. Color, clarity, brightness, overall quality, will vary depending on where the prints are made. These differences are due to inconsistencies in the way that different photo printers will interpret the color information in the JPG file. Low cost print houses (Wal-Mart, Costco, Walgreens, etc.) can often produce good quality prints but the color and overall quality will vary with each printing machine and the way it is calibrated and maintained. To get the best results you should print the images with all automatic enhancement features turned off. The files are already color balanced and edited for the best appearance. If the software at the printer tries to enhance what has already been enhanced, you may get prints with inaccurate color and tone. The best advice, if you are having many prints made from your CD at a particular photo printer, is to have one or two prints made and compare them to the original prints provided by M&K Photography. If you are satisfied with the prints then go ahead and get the remainder. If you are not satisfied with the results then talk with the print manager or try another location. Online Wedding Gallery: All wedding packages include an online gallery of your wedding images so that you can easily share your wedding with friends and family. Web galleries are normally online within 10 days of your wedding. Following your wedding you will receive an email with a direct link to your wedding pictures. The images in your gallery will be optimized for web viewing. Images in the web gallery cannot be copied. Individuals can directly purchase any of the images directly from your web gallery. These Images are copyright protected by M&K Photography and may be used for marketing or advertising. Packages 3, 4, and deluxe will also have a slideshow of the wedding day images available for visitors to the gallery. Slideshow production may require up to an additional 10 days before uploading.
Wedding Albums provided with the packages are professional high quality flush mount seamless albums 14- 26 pages in length with 40-100 images used on average. There are numerous options in photo book/Album designs, such as cover construction and custom number of pages. Prices for additional album styles are available upon request.
Design of your Wedding Album: There are two ways to design your album. The first, I creatively design the album myself or you look through your CD of prints and send me a list of photos (file names) you want in the album. Either way works fine and your album will be online as it comes together and we will be in touch by email or phone and you can make suggestions or changes as the work progresses. Whether I design the album on my own or you provide a list of shots to include, the costs of designing the album is included in the package price. If not in the package you chose, there is a design fee of $99 added to the cost of the book (*as noted in price list).

Engagement Photo Session information: Provided at the Location of your choice for a fee of $250.
Price is included in our Deluxe Package. Choice of Engagement Photo in Signature Matte, wedding guests can sign their names around your engagement photo as an addition or in place of a guest book. Or, choose $100 dollars in print credits. A copyright-free CD of your images will be included.
